Directions

There are two routes to take to reach Rancho Frijole from Dallas, Texas

Take HWY 80 east out of Dallas and stay on HWY 80 all the way to Wills Point, TX.  This route will take you through Terrell which is a good route if you need to make any last minute stops to pick up supplies, beer, liquor, and such.  When you reach Wills Point (15 mi.) continue east all the way through town.  After you pass the big Shell station on the east end of Wills Point, go to the fourth crossover. This is 3523, take a left.  There is a metal warehouse building. At night you usually will see three bright lights on the side of the building as you approach it.  Also a big white water tower. Go over the railroad tracks and veer to the right.  This is 3501.  The first road to your left (1/4 mi.)  is 3515.  (NO SIGN) Turn left and continue on 3515 about a mile. Follow signs to the parking area and camping area.  The road is winding and if you come to Willow Lake Estates, you have gone too far.

OR

Take I-20 east to exit #512, Hiram-Wills Point Road. 2965.  Go left over I-20 and continues on 2965 to HWY 80, (7 mi.)  Turn right on HWY 80 and go east through Wills Point.  After the big Shell station on the east end of Wills Point, go to the fourth crossover, turn left on 3523. watch for a metal warehouse building. At night you will usually see three bright lights on the side of the building as you approach it.  Also a big white water tower.  Go over the railroad tracks and veer to the right. This is 3501.  The first road to your left (1/4 mi.) is 3515. (NO SIGN) Turn left and continue on 3515 about a mile.
