Lin spent the first year getting the greenhouse built. With the help of dear friends and the blessing of having enough work to bring in the money, in nine months time, the magical environment came to be. The greenhouse is 96 foot long by 35 foot wide and 16 foot tall. A heavenly majestic structure. The covering is clear lexan with poly and shade cloth on the top. It is of course the home to many of Lin’s tropical plants, but it also has a makeshift kitchen area on one end, where many meals have been shared with friends and family. This kitchen, with frig, burners, pots and pans, and a 20 foot buffet table, is available for use if you book an event at Rancho Frijole. It serves as an exciting shelter in a rainstorm and is truly something to be experienced.
