Lin purchased the 15 1/2-acre homestead in late 1998.  It is located just one hour east of Dallas off highway 80.  She fell in love with the wooded piece of paradise.  Especially the beautiful deep pond secluded and great for swimming.  Although the house was old, she saw it as enough, because her sites were on the beauty of the property, and her longing to have a place to share with friends and family. A place where people could escape from the noise of the city and relax and enjoy nature.  To sit by a tranquil campfire and hear the Whippoorwill’s song.
